Due to the complexity of this condition, it is essential to develop educational strategies that support the training of nutrition residents in their clinical practice. Objective: To develop and validate a Nutrition Guide on Congenital Heart Disease aimed at training nutrition residents in cardiovascular health care. Methodology: This is a methodological, exploratory, and quantitative study, structured in seven stages, including a literature review, content development, and validation by expert judges—among them, former residents of the program. The guide validation was based on the Content Validity Index (CVI), considering the criteria of objectives, structure and presentation, and relevance of the chapters. Results: The results showed high agreement levels among the evaluators, indicating satisfactory content validity in all dimensions: objectives (CVI = 0.99), structure and presentation (CVI = 0.97), and relevance (CVI = 0.96), with an overall CVI of 0.97. Discussion: The guide covers essential aspects of nutritional care for congenital heart disease, from the foundations of health education to the specificities of nutritional assessment and dietary management in pediatrics. As a technicalscientific product, the guide is configured as an educational technology that promotes a criticalreflective learning process, supports the clinical practice of residents, and enhances the quality of nutritional care for children with congenital heart disease. Conclusion: The proposal is relevant and applicable, and may be incorporated into nutrition training processes within the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS), as well as adapted to other health education contexts.PPG-ESA - Fundamentos e metodologias em ensino na saúde na Amazônia
