This study aimed to evaluate the Practical Guide for Teaching Phytotherapy in the Training of Health Professionals regarding its applicability, pedagogical quality, and potential contribution to higher education. This is an evaluative study with a qualitative and quantitative approach, conducted with ten higher education professors from different health-related courses, especially Nutrition and Nursing. Data collection was carried out through a structured questionnaire containing closed- and open-ended questions, allowing the characterization of participants, identification of previous experience with phytotherapy teaching, and evaluation of the guide in terms of clarity, organization, content relevance, and pedagogical applicability. The results demonstrated high acceptance of the material, with unanimous agreement among participants regarding its suitability for pedagogical use. Most professors reported no previous experience teaching phytotherapy, highlighting persistent educational gaps in undergraduate health programs. The guide was recognized as a facilitator of the teaching–learning process, particularly in lesson planning and content organization. Suggestions for improvement mainly concerned visual and didactic aspects, such as the inclusion of more illustrations and layout adjustments. It is concluded that the guide has strong potential to contribute to the qualification of health professional training, strengthening phytotherapy education in higher education and promoting integration betweenscientific knowledge, public health policies, and integrative care practices.PPG-ESA - Fundamentos e metodologias em ensino na saúde na Amazônia
