The first identifies the diversity of species managed and their categories of use, highlighting the importance of traditional knowledge in food and medicinal sustainability. The second chapter outlines the socio-economic and productive profile of the farmers, pointing out limitations such as low schooling, restricted access to credit and fragile productive organization. The third chapter emphasizes the strategic role of rural women in the conservation of agrobiodiversity and the intergenerational transmission of knowledge. The fourth section highlights production obstacles, such as the lack of technical assistance, pests and marketing barriers, which compromise families' economic autonomy. Finally, the fifth chapter shows that, although the municipality maintains extensive forest cover, agricultural intensification and land concentration contribute significantly to deforestation. The research concludes that strengthening family farming requires integrated, territorially adjusted and environmentally sustainable public policies, valuing local knowledge, gender inclusion and participatory territorial planning.PPGCA - Meio ambiente e sustentabilidade
