This research is a cross-sectional, prospective, qualitative study, carried out between June 2021 and June 2022 at the State University of Pará (UEPA) - Campus VIII-Marabá and aimed to analyze the use of realistic simulation in urgency and emergency as a teaching-learning resource in the undergraduate medical course and the performance of students trained in this method in real care. A total of 29 medical students from the State University of Pará (UEPA), Campus VIII, Marabá-PA, enrolled in the discipline of Urgency and Emergency in Internal Medicine, participated in the study. The results of the research ratified the importance of realistic simulation in urgency and emergency in medical education, evidenced several difficulties encountered by students in real care and showed that the constant feedback of those who are being trained is essential for the continuous improvement of the method. The organization of care environments with adequate equipment and spaces, trained support teams, the application of evidencebased conduct protocols, and the permanent supervision of an experienced preceptor were the main points suggested for a better performance in care. From the results of the research, two educational products were elaborated, namely, an instructional video on the use and functioning of the Medical Skills Laboratory and an ebook entitled "Organization of Urgent and Emergency Care Environments for Medical Education in the Internship”.Both products were validated by expert judges and applied to the target audience, being duly approved, following the current standards of validation and application of technical/educational products.PPG-ESA - Fundamentos e metodologias em ensino na saúde na Amazônia
