Lexical variations are features that determine a set of cultural elements of linguistic diversity, among these, the lexical aspects of quilombola culture. This thesis is based on the theme of linguistic variation in quilombola communities of the Paraense Amazon. Its general objective is to conduct a study, from the perspective of intercultural education, on the semantic-lexical aspects of the Brazilian language of residents in the remaining Quilombola Region of Itacuruçá in the municipality of Abaetetuba-PA, in comparison with the collection of the semantic-lexical questionnaire proposed by the Linguistic Atlas Project of Brazil- ALiB (2005). The type of research is founded on the science of language with a focus on dialectology and sociolinguistics. The selected method is cartographic and is justified by the recording of lexemes in lexical geographic maps. The theoretical-methodological framework consists of authors who discuss sociolinguistics such as: Bagno (2008); Mollica (2003); Tarallo (1990), Cardoso (2010) and, authors who conduct research focused on studies of racism / linguistic racism: Nascimento (2019); Ribeiro (2017). The research locus is the remnant quilombo community of Itacuruçá. Two (2) linguistic points were selected: the Remnant Quilombo Community of Médio Itacuruçá and the Remnant Quilombo Community of Alto Itacuruçá / Abaetetuba. The participants in the research are 20 (twenty) residents / co-participants of different genders and natives of the Remnant Quilombola Community of Itacuruçá. The data collection instruments are: the semantic lexical questionnaire of the Linguistic Atlas Project of Brazil - QSL - ALiB (2005); the Subject Form and the Locality Form. The data analysis was conducted according to the criteria of sociolinguistics. data analyzed and that do not match the lexicons proposed in QSL-ALiB (2005). The preliminary analysis of the research corpus allowed for the preparation of 69 (sixty-nine) lexical cards that semantically describe the lexical collection of the remnant quilombo community of Médio Itacuruçá and Alto Itacuruçá. The preparation of the Lexical Cards and geographical location of linguistic points was carried out using free software with open source code for editing and analysis of georeferencing data - QGIS. The preliminary results show the existence of a specific and unique lexical collection of the Itacuruçá quilombola remnant community - Abaetetuba-PA. This data is systematized and organized in the form of linguistic cartography. It is concluded that the remaining quilombola communities of Itacuruçá: Médio Itacuruçá and Alto Itacuruçá represent sociolinguistic aspects of the quilombola region – a cultural and identity group – historically with denied rights and placed on the margins of society, highlighting another aspect of speech that should represent education from an intercultural perspective for the teaching of Brazilian Language.PPGED - Saberes culturais e educação na Amazônia
