It starts from the problem: how does Paulo Freire's educational thought contribute to reflections-actions of early childhood education preventive of sexual violence against children? This crime against childhood is mainly practiced at home, so it is crucial that the school takes the lead in knowing how to protect children. Data from the Brazilian Public Security Yearbook (2022) reveal that most cases occur while children and adolescents are in elementary school. Thus, for there to be effective prevention, Early Childhood Education is the most suitable context. The research methodology constitutes a collaborative action-research (Ibiapina, 2008); participatory type (Brandão, 2003, 2006); with a qualitative approach (Gatti, 2002, 2010); weaving approximations with Marx's materialist dialectic (2008, 1979) and its contributions to educational research (Gadotti, 1997). Its procedures are a diagnosis of teachers' prior knowledge on the subject; and culture circles in the format of workshops, creating conditions for the subjects to identify risk situations, signs of violence, prevention strategies, as well as the creation of action plans based on Paulo Freire, who contributes with his pedagogy of autonomy and dialogue. The main themes that constitute the bibliographic framework include the problematization of infant eroticization (Kilboume; Levin, 2009); Being a child from Arroyo (2007), Campos (2019) and Santos et al (2022); education and ethics (Oliveira, 2006); sex education (Figueiró, 2018, 2010); violence (Dussel, 1993); sexual violence (Sanderson, 2005); the role of the school in the Child and Adolescent Rights Guarantee System (Rovinski; Pelisoli, 2019). In addition to these authors, Freire (2020, 2015a, 2015c, 1993, 1992) contributes transversally in different parts of the thesis, highlighting as a result its epistemological and methodological potential for the development of a pedagogy of prevention based on autonomy, dialogue, saying one's word, listening, humanization, violence, and sexuality.PPGED - Saberes culturais e educação na Amazônia
